Ready, Set, EAT!!

Downtown Topeka, Inc. is proud to announce “Devour  Downtown” for one delicious week,
August  14-20, 2011.

During this week-long event, participating downtown restaurants will be offering great lunch and dinner specials in an effort to  bring more Topekans out to enjoy their downtown.  DTI is taking strides to encourage people to come downtown and enjoy the heart of their city, as people do in other cities all  across the country.

There are so many delectable restaurants Downtown to  delight your taste buds and “Devour Downtown” is a great way to discover them  without emptying your wallet. If you eat Downtown regularly for lunch it’s a great time to try that new restaurant you’ve always meant to, round-up some friends or co-workers and give Downtown a try.

Not only will you get a great deal on a meal, you can  also feel good about a portion of the proceeds being donated to Downtown Topeka, Inc.  For every special sold at participating “Devour Downtown” restaurants during Downtown Topeka Restaurant Week, $1 dollar will be donated to Downtown Topeka, Inc. and will be used to help DTI produce and promote free community events in downtown and recruit new businesses to the area.   Take advantage of this great opportunity to get out and support local restaurants while creating great new things to do in your town.

Through events such as “Devour Downtown” Topeka  Restaurant Week, we hope that Topekans will add Downtown to their mindset of  great places to go for a real night out on the town. Watch this space for more information on participating restaurants, specials, and more!
